I love Kuala Lumpur. It’s one of my favorite cities in the world. In last 4 years alone I have been to this city more than 10 times . If you are planning a trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, anytime soon, check out this list of interesting places to visit in Kuala Lumpur. But today I want to talk about the best area to stay in Kuala Lumpur and the best hotels in Kuala Lumpur.

Or more exactly – best affordable hotels in Kuala Lumpur.

Let’s get started!

Where to Stay in Kuala Lumpur?

Kuala Lumpur (KL) is the capital of Malaysia as well as its largest city.

If you are coming to Kuala Lumpur only for a short visit here are few of the best places where to stay in Kuala Lumpur: KLCC (Petronas Towers), Bukit Bintang, area of KL Sentral and, so called, Golden Triangle. I, personally, recommend Bukit Bintang and the area of KLCC as two of the best places where to stay in Kuala Lumpur.

As you can imagine, Kuala Lumpur is a big city. But it also has a good public transportation system. So if you are coming to Kuala Lumpur for more than a few days or a week know that you can find a lot of good options as where to stay in KL. You don’t necessarily need to stay near the main tourist attractions then, unless that’s exactly what you want.

If it’s over your budget, try to look for a room or an apartment on Airbnb. In January 2018 we stayed in a modern and very well furnished two-bedroom apartment, which cost us around 70 EUR per night. And it wasn’t the cheapest option.

The best part is that everyone gets an access to their AWESOME rooftop infinity pool.
